Our review

XLDent is a dental software suite that combines practice management with an electronic dental record. Its products include XLChart for clinical records, image management that stores images from any digital imaging device, XLCheckIn, XLNotify for patient notifications, XLTimeclock and an XLDent Cloud option. Integrated eSolutions from partners cover services such as claims and patient communication.

XLDent is often used by multi-provider groups and community or public health clinics that need EHR-style records alongside scheduling and billing. Clerri lists XLDent among the PMSs it integrates with.

Who it's for: group practices, FQHCs and community dental programs that want a combined PMS and EHR.

Watch-outs: pricing isn't published and built-in AI is minimal. Confirm the cloud version has the features you need, and check which third-party AI tools integrate before committing.
