Oryx is a cloud-based practice management system that bundles scheduling, charting, guided exams, imaging, patient messaging, online booking and revenue cycle tools. Oryx AI transcribes and summarizes appointments into clinical notes and supports hands-free voice perio charting. The company also offers RevGen, a dedicated billing team that works inside your Oryx account.

Oryx says it is used by more than 20,000 clinicians at about 2,000 practices across five continents, and that it has processed over $6 billion in payments. It was named to the Inc. list of fastest-growing companies. Unlike most PMS vendors, its US pricing has been published by third parties: Oryx Pro from about $650 a month per location, Oryx Automate about $899 and Oryx AI about $1,399.

Who it's for: startups and independent practices that want one cloud system with AI notes and imaging included, and practices that want to outsource billing.

Watch-outs: confirm current pricing directly with Oryx. Check sensor and imaging-device compatibility, and how data converts from your current PMS.
